Ndoc Gjecaj Guesthouse is run by the warm and hospital hosts, Petrit and Lule Gjecaj. Aside from their active life of producing their own vegetables, dairy products and dealing with the affairs of the village, they love welcoming their guests and showing them the beautiful area of Thethi.
The house, made of stones with a wooden roof, is situated close to the center of the village of Thethi. The house offers 7 comfortable rooms (where everything is handmade) and a dining room with a fireplace.
The Gjecaj family is happy to prepare traditional dishes from the area of Thethi for you, made with fresh, biological products and honey produced by their own bees.

It is customary to remove your shoes before entering homes in the north. Since temperatures can get colder, we recommend bringing a pair of warm socks or slippers to wear instead of shoes while inside the guesthouse.
Various development organizations, such as the German Organization for Technical Cooperation, have worked with the host families in the area to bring their guesthouses up to standard. While travelers must keep in mind that these are very modest, simple, and rustic family home environments, they will be pleased to find that the accommodations do provide a comfortable stay.
It is most considerate to book in advance so that each family has time to prepare the food and guestrooms with your comfort in mind.
- For cancellations made 48 hours before the arrival date, there will not be any cancellation charge.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the arrival date, there will be a charge equivalent to the first night's stay.
