For those interested in local customs, traditions and rituals, Harusha Guesthouse is just the place to stay It is conveniently located on the plain at the heart of the Theth valley, together with the village school, church and local museum.
Set close to the river and its magical atmosphere, this typical rock house stands in the midst of a lovely garden and orchard, and offers a splendid opportunity to explore and witness local social life and the valley's institutions.
Over the summer, a number of church festivals and cultural events take place on the field by the village church, which is a stone's throw away from the Harusha Guesthouse. Attractions include short walks around the cultivated sections of the plain, following the irrigation channels, and picnics by the river which the Harusha family would be happy to arrange.
Going to Thethi means going back to the old days! The per-night rate includes breakfast, lunch (often a picnic lunch) and dinner. There are three small bars in the village where visitors can go for a drink. For the convenience of guests, drinks are also sold in the guesthouse. The host will always provide guests with tea and water, but other drinks like wine, beer or raki need to be paid for.
As there are no cash machines in the village, and the guesthouse accepts only cash payments, guests are requested to withdraw some money in Shkoder before arrival at the guesthouse.
As long as the road is accessible (not covered in snow) the villagers will be able to bring petrol to the mobile phone antenna, and thus there will be mobile phone reach during spring and summer.

If luggage is required to be left at the reception for a few extra hours after checking out of the room, the reception would be happy to oblige. Guests should refer to the online dictionary while asking about storage of their luggage.
Children are welcome to stay.
- for cancellations made 48 h before the arrival date, there will not be any cancellation charge
- for cancellations made less than 48 h before the arrival date, there will be a charge equivalent to the first night's stay.
Guests are advised to bring a warm sweater or windcheater as protection against the cold mountain air, and also a pair of warm socks, as it is the custom in Albania to take off one's shoes while entering the house.
