Carku Guesthouse

After descending the Thore Pass, travellers will find themselves in the first neighbourhood of the Theth Valley, Gjecaj. Carku Guesthouse is the second house on the right. Besides the clear signboard posted at the entrance, Carku Guesthouse is very easy to find thanks to its proximity to the former vacation camp, the single largest compound in Gjecaj, Thethi. The locals refer to as Kampi and it is located right next to the guesthouse.

Most people use the city of Shkoder as a base for reaching the more remote northern villages of Valbona and Thethi.  We recommend Hotel Kolping and Hotel Tradita in Shkoder as good accommodations and sources of information for traveling farther north.
