Carku Guesthouse is a truly authentic and fairy-tale-like house made of hard stone and wide and thick planks of healthy-smelling pinewood that radiates warmth and friendliness.
It is the closest property in Theth to the Sheep's Pass and Thore Pass. The guesthouse has been at times a station, at times a theatre of public activity, a house owned by God and guests, as prescribed by the Kanun of Dukagjin.
Experience true moments of local social traditions by observing the flow of guests, visitors and ‘heralds' that come and go during the busy summer days.
The family offers guests all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay in their home. Bed sheets and towels are also provided. All meals are included in the price. The only items to be carried are shampoo, shower gel, mosquito repellent, a small first aid kit, a warm sweater and a warm pair of socks.
Guests are also requested to bring along a pair of sleepers, as it is the custom in Albania to leave shoes at the door, and walk around the house in sleepers.

- for cancellations made with less than a 48-hour notice, there will be a charge equivalent to the first night's stay.
Guests can check-in at any time, but it is recommended that they inform the hotel of their estimated arrival time, as the hosts need to know if they will be present for lunch or dinner. This is also to ensure the safety of guests, especially those arriving on foot from one of the other valleys in the region.
