Address: Theth, Gjecaj, Thethi
Carku Guesthouse is a truly authentic and storybook-like house made of hard stone and wide and thick planks of healthy-smelling pinewood that transmits warmth and friendliness.
It is the closest property in Theth to the Sheep's Pass and Thore Pass. The guesthouse has been at times a station, at times a theatre of public activity, a house owned by God and guests, as prescribed by the Kanun of Dukagjin.
Experience true moments of local social traditions by observing the flow of guests, visitors and ‘heralds' that come and go during the busy summer days. Don't miss this ideal headquarters for exciting outdoor activities and world-class hiking in the mountains.

Other Disclosures:
Guests can check-in at any time, but it is recommended that they inform the hotel of their estimated arrival time, as the hosts need to know if they will be present for lunch or dinner. This is also to ensure the safety of guests, especially those arriving on foot from one of the other valleys in the region.
Various development organizations, such as the German Organization for Technical Cooperation, have worked with the host families in the area to bring their guesthouses up to standard. While travelers must keep in mind that these are very modest, simple, and rustic family home environments, they will be pleased to find that the accommodations do provide a comfortable stay.
It is most considerate to book in advance so that each family has time to prepare the food and guestrooms with your comfort in mind.
Remember to bring warm layers and thick socks or slippers for wearing indoors. The weather can get cold in this high altitude climate.
- for cancellations made 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival, there will be no charge
- for cancellations made with less than a 48-hour notice, there will be a charge equivalent to the first night's stay.
